Fear vs. Intuition

Screw it, let's leap. On fear yelling loudly, intuition whispering, and letting the fear pass through you before you do it anyway.

Screw it, let’s leap!

I’ve ridden the emotional wave, made about 15 plans that are realistically going to have to be rescheduled, changed, or cancelled altogether, and I’ve processed my triggers. There’s only one thing left to do: launch.

And yet my body feels tender and apprehensive. So, I lean in. I ask, what am I missing? And illogical ego says “It’s not perfect! Wait a little bit longer, the answer will come.” But the self-aware part of me calls bullsh*t. I lean in a little closer, and ask what is it, really? And my younger self whispers, “it’s finally time to show the world. . . what if they don’t like me?”

I’m smiling after typing that last paragraph. An hour ago I was sending a voice note to Brandi, my incredible web designer, and I said “I just need the fear to pass and then I’ll be good to go.” And then I went back and said “Actually, I meant that I needed to let the fear pass through me, fully acknowledge it, and then do it anyway.” There’s my reframe.

When I speak about intuitive living, I often hear the phrase “I can never tell the difference between intuition and fear.” And I think that little reframe activity I did with myself about sums it up, because there is no reason to overcomplicate it. Fear yells loudly, and immediately. Intuition comes later, when you sit with yourself long enough to tune out the initial chatter. Often it whispers when it is sharing a stage with fear. You must listen to the whispers.

This next phase of my personal journey and career will equally be spent in the spotlight. Mars is in Leo. October, the month with the thinnest veil, is upon us. And my debut as Amanda Nafash, Aligned Oracle is ready to begin. All we’re waiting on is my announcement.

Another layer of truth is, this all means so much to me, it feels like no one will ever understand, as this process has been incredibly personal.

There is finally a place to book on my calendar, finally a library of all of the ventures I’ve been on for the past 6 and a half years, finally an offerings list that wholly reflects what I have spent so much time and energy curating.

It’s also the beginning of a new chapter of business. More structure, higher prices, more firm boundaries and policies. All of this with the vision of the future abundance and accessibility of the community encouraging me forward.

And it was created with the intention of sharing. So, with that being said, I highly encourage you to check out my new website, www.alignedoracle.com, when you finish reading.

Sometimes when you spend so much time trying to get somewhere, getting there feels a little scary. But now that I’ve shared this with you all, I am being reminded: I’ve got a pretty big capacity for risk. Screw it, let’s leap.

See ya on the other side friends.
