The Aligned Way

A spiral, not a ladder. Five stages I found underneath six years of readings and coaching, and once I saw them I couldn't stop seeing them. They run at every size: a forty-five minute reading, a twelve week season, and the deck.

We're nonlinear, and so are our lives. So this isn't a checklist. You'll come back round to the same stage more than once, and each time you'll arrive with more in your hands than the last.

Getting aligned, the way I mean it, is a well rounded, custom fit approach to life. Not a life that looks good from the outside. One that fits from the inside, and keeps fitting as it changes.

One

Curiosity

Where we start, every time. What's actually going on, what you want, what you're afraid of, and what you've heard about how this is supposed to work. In a reading it's the few breaths before I shuffle and the intention you set. In a season it's week one: three goals, a spread we pull on the themes of our work together, and an honest conversation about the end before we've begun.

Just be curious about this. Don't feel like you have to have an answer that sounds good. Just get the words out.Amanda

Two

Practice

You try something, small and specific. A schedule on the fridge. The conversation you've been avoiding. A card pulled with a real question behind it. It's built to be adjusted, and you bring back what you noticed: what worked, what didn't, and what it brought up while you were doing it.

Practice is when we try stuff.Amanda

Three

Integration

The part everyone wants to skip. The plan stops fitting, or life gets in the way, and the feelings show up: guilt, grief, the sense that you've failed at something. We sit with that first. Then we get honest about what's true now, which is usually different from what we planned for. This is where the clinical training earns its keep.

That is also when the emotional stuff we've been working through comes into play.Amanda

Four

Redirection

Not a new plan. We keep every piece of the old one that still fits and let go of only what's dragging you back. Then the logistics: who to call, what to change, what it costs, what it frees up. Most people get stuck somewhere between integration and redirection. That's normal, and it still fits inside a season.

At some point we have to stop complaining that your dad didn't believe in you and start believing in yourself.Amanda

Five

Continuing

We talk about the end from the beginning, because the point is that you need me less. By the last session you know what's crucial for you, what was just nice to have, and what support looks like once we're done. Then you come back round to curiosity, with skills you now own.

There is no end. I don't want it to feel like we're wrapping life up in a pretty little bow, because that isn't how it works.Amanda

It runs at every size

Same five stages. Different sized rooms.

In a reading

The breaths and the intention are curiosity. The first few cards are practice. The pause while I find the words is integration. The last question, does anything feel incomplete, is redirection. What you do next is continuing.

Across a season

Twelve weeks, weekly, one to one. Every stage, more than once, with a spread we pulled in week one to keep coming back to.

In a room

Two and a half hours with your people, built around one skill: hearing your own yes and your own no, and trusting it in front of other people.

In your hands

The deck. In the works, coming in 2027. The method in your own hands, so you can run it without me.

The deck

What doing it well looks like

Checking in with yourself. Reflecting. Pausing long enough to actually feel a pull in one direction before you move. That's it. That's the whole practice.

There's really only one way to do it badly, and it's the same for anything intuitive: getting obsessed with an outcome, or staying married to what a message meant six months ago. Life moves. The method moves with it.

Nobody honours their intuition every single day. Including me. Some days you'll hear it clearly and some days you won't, and that isn't failure.

It is simply a practice.Amanda

The Aligned Way Oracle Deck

A deck is in the works. Coming in 2027, and made so you'd need me less.

Everything in it points you back at your own intuition. The five stages, written out so you can run the method at your own kitchen table with no reader in the room.

If you've had a reading with me, this is the same thing in your own hands. If you haven't, it's how you'd start.

Deck news only. No countdowns, no last chance.
